“How do I do what you do?” I get this question all the time.
The luxury travel industry looks incredibly alluring – and it is. You get to travel to places you never imagined you’d get to see in person. Your wildest travel dreams can come true.
But I’ve discovered that this has never been the driving force of the people who succeed in this business.
The individuals who are most successful are driven by their passion to see clients’ dreams turn into reality. They are people who love making magic happen every day for the benefit of someone else.
It’s hard work though. It’s 2:00am nights when your clients ferry is delayed in Greece. It’s Sundays spent on the phone with Delta, competing with every other individual who’s being affected by the same hurricane, in hopes to fight on behalf of your clients.
