Island Hopping in Anguilla, St. Barth’s, and St. Martin – Coming Soon!

Who’s ready to travel again?

I AM.

Considering my short, two-week long turnaround time between trips, I was tempted to just leave my duffle bag packed and bring my Africa clothes on this next trip. However, I don’t think that safari gear will go over well in the Caribbean…

This week, I’ll be going on another fam for up-and-coming young agents (Viceroy Anguilla’s Rising Star Fam). After my coworker visited last year, I’ve been DYING to check out  the Viceroy Anguilla – they are so generous to put this together for us! After a great itinerary at the Viceroy (two spa treatments, a cooking competition, AND a scavenger hunt?! HECK YES.), we are doing a little island hopping to the oh-so-fab St. Barth’s before overnighting in St. Martin.

Here’s the itinerary:

– 3 Nights Viceroy Anguilla

– 1 Night Hotel Guanahani, St. Barth’s

– 1 Night Isle De France, St. Barth’s

– 1 Night La Samanna,  St. Martin

Villa at the Viceroy

I’m thrilled to see all of these Virtuoso properties and incredibly excited about my travel companion. I will be reunited with my long-lost-Polynesian-travel-friend, Laura Allen (she is not Polynesian, we just traveled to French Polynesia together last year). That means this WILL be an eventful trip, no doubt. I foresee tons of stories and jokes, just like last year’s French Polynesia trip, especially because we will be renting a car in St. Barth’s and I’m expected to drive on the other side of the road while Laura sips coconut mojitos. I plan on mounting the GoPro to the dashboard so there is at least footage of our last moments (and faces) as we drive off a cliff.

While I’ll be blogging from the trip, I can assure you that Laura will be tweeting – be sure to follow her @lauraallentvl . Nothing makes her happier than a good tweet.

I’m also looking forward to tomorrow night, where I’ll get to see my favorite Aussie (Emma Horne of Travel2/Islands in the Sun) and New Zealander (Carolyn Pope of Tourism New Zealand) before jetting off Thursday morning. I love the connections already made in this industry and excited to make some more this upcoming week!
