FriFotos: Blooms From Around the World
It’s that time again – another Friday where I actually remember to participate in FriFotos (I’m terrible at keeping up with Twitter events…but this is one of my favorites, definitely worth checking out #frifotos if you have some time and love travel photography!). This week’s theme is #blooms – so below is a bouquet of flowers from across this beautiful blooming world. Enjoy!
The Tiare, pictured below, is the national flower of Tahiti and the flower for which the Tahitian tourism board gets the name of agents who specialize in the islands. I’m proud to be a certified Tahiti Tiare agent!
Orchids are my absolute favorite flowers in the world (hint, hint, anyone who might want to send me flowers) and Hawaii was full of them – can’t wait to go back to these beautiful islands one day! In the meantime, it’s one of my top destinations to send clients thanks to my Hawaiian Islands specialization!
Talk about some blooms! Costa Rica has some gorgeous foliage, no matter what part of the country you’re in. Since I don’t even have a slightly green thumb, I can never identify most flowers, but these are some of my favorites:
The flowers below were part of a Cannonball plant – not sure the story behind such a plant except that the fruit it bears looks just like…you got it: cannonballs.
