FriFotos: Markets Around the World

Happy #FriFotos day, everyone! Today’s theme on Twitter is Markets – unfortunately, I don’t have any photos of my first ever market experience, which took place in Venice, Italy. I will never forget arriving into the city of Venice after a long, overnight train ride on an overbooked train. After stumbling through the narrow streets, my ragtag group of classmates and I wound up in a Seafood Market while they set up for the day. The smell and look of the fresh fish and octopus tentacles as they were splattered across the tables combined with my lack of sleep was enough to make me lose it. Luckily, the other markets I’ve visited since have had almost no seafood (if they did, I just walked through a different section). Enjoy the photos below!
