Luxury Hotels in Antigua: Q&A with Hermitage Bay, A Virtuoso Property

A big thanks to the lovely Karen Bull at IslandLuxe Destinations for putting this Q&A together. One of our fantastic partner properties, Hermitage Bay in Antigua, is perfect for boutique hotel enthusiasts. The property, which is comprised of only 25 suites, is all inclusive and feels like a secluded oasis. It’s only 35 minutes from the airport and, if you stay over 3 days, even the transfers are complimentary.

The property is very complimentary of its surrounding area – geography played a large role in how it was built. For those who like a little more seclusion and spectacular views, the Hillside Suites are a gracious 1200 square feet with their own outdoor showers and plunge pools.

If you prefer to be on the beach, Hermitage Bay has some fantastic Beach Suites, complete with outdoor dining areas and just steps away from the sugary white sand beaches.

Not only does Hermitage Bay pride itself in fantastic accommodations, it sets a very high standard for service and cuisine. Their menus are so fresh that they are printed daily to keep guests up to do ate on the latest available produce, fish, and more. There’s even an organic garden on property where a lot of the produce is grown. It doesn’t get much fresher than that!

Guests will find a perfect amount of relaxation here, from the privacy of the resort itself to the romantic activities available, like a picnic on a secluded beach. Hermitage Bay will take guests to an island only accessible boat and leave them with a cell phone – just call when you’re ready to be picked up! If you’re looking for romance, seclusion, and a chance to unwind, this is definitely the property for you.

Karen, mentioned above as my rep for Hermitage Bay, is a character. As energetic and fun as it gets, she proclaimed in our webinar about the property, “Even can find peace here!”

Q&A with Andy, the co-owner of Hermitage Bay (be sure to follow him at @HermitageBay on Twitter!):
