We stopped in Sardinia today – and then we turned right back around to lay out on the boat. After taking a ferry into the sleepy little port town, we walked around for about 20 minutes to the port-side stores: overpriced clothes that were all naval themed. So that was cute. Not a whole lot to update at the moment, except that Sardinia – while pretty – is not the most interesting of places. We might just not know exactly where to go, as I’ve heard it has beautiful beaches, but they’re all a pretty lengthy boat ride away. Since we got a late start and I have my cocktail party tonight, we don’t want to get stuck too far from the ship.
Speaking of the cocktail reception, I’m going to run get ready. Hopefully I will have a ton to update from tonight’s reception, the Flambe under the Stars (don’t exactly know what this is, but I’m hoping there’s chocolate involved), and tomorrow’s stop at Corsica. So, be expecting a little more for your daily dose of blog tomorrow, as I’m expecting a little more adventure to come.
