Singita – Luxury Safari Lodges

Singita properties are a collection of twelve of the most renowned lodges across South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. Singita was founded in 1993, and each lodge centers around maintaining their pristine environments with a focus on conservation and hospitality. Each lodge has been thoughtfully designed with a different aesthetic in mind. Kruger National Park houses the ultra modern Lebombo and Sweni Lodges, while Sabi Sands houses the more traditional, colonial feels of Boulders Lodge and the original Singita Lodge, Ebony.

What makes these lodges so special?

The properties are intimate, most comprised of 15 or fewer suites, some with their own plunge pools. The game drives are kept small, typically with just six guests plus rangers. The knowledgeable staff ensures an adventure packed safari where you won’t wait in a line five Land Rovers deep to spot an elephant. You’re sure to see some of the Big 5 (the African elephant, lion, leopard, cape buffalo & black rhinoceros), plus hyenas, cheetahs, hippos and more.

Do these lodges still have the 5 star service I am looking for?

Singita’s service is always 3 steps ahead of you. This is the kind of place that delights in surprising their guests – think nights where you thought you’d be eating in the restaurant but they’ve set up a private boma dinner for you, mornings spent enjoying pastries in the open plains after your game drive, and more. Even the little touches, like taking into account which side of the bed you sleep on and drawing a nice bubble bath after a long day on safari.

The accommodations are truly 5 star. They each have different personalities that incorporate a modern, local or even colonial feel into their decor without interfering with the sense of place or surrounding nature. They are very thoughtfully appointed & designed.

Singita has a heart that gives back to their surrounding community, so you can stay and know that you are in a way contributing to so much more than your vacation. We can arrange interactions & visits with their community projects on request.

Payton Fletcher

My name is Payton Fletcher, and I am one of the assistants to the wonderful Lindsey Epperly. I recently graduated with a Studio Art degree from Georgia College. Lucky for me, my last 9 credit hours for school were earned while I studied abroad in Amsterdam and Paris. That did it for me - the travel bug bit me, and now it is impossible for me to get rid of that itch.
