I am so excited to announce my recent achievement: I am now a Tahiti Tiare agent! Since traveling to French Polynesia last year, I have been passionate about the islands of Tahiti and have loved sharing that passion with anyone interested in the destination. It is easily one of my favorite destinations that I’ve ever traveled to and everyone who goes realizes just how special it is. Photos don’t do the natural beauty and unprecedented luxury any justice – you just have to see to believe!
While I was in French Polynesia, I spent time in Tahiti, Bora Bora, Taha’a, and Moorea, so I can speak on those experiences firsthand. I can recommend many of the other destinations within French Polynesia based on my clients’ experiences. There are so many wonderful islands and resorts to explore, but the key to a fantastic trip to Tahiti is matching your personality, interests, and budget to the best fit for you. This is why I fully believe a trip to Tahiti requires the knowledge of a Tahiti Tiare Agent and I’m so proud to be one.
In my opinion, Tahiti should be on top of everyone’s bucket lists – couples, families, and everyone in between. From the beautiful scenery to the fun activities, there’s truly something for everyone in this amazing destination. The culture, food, and surrounding nature are just out of this world. I must’ve walked around with my mouth ajar at the beauty. In French Polynesia, your breath will be taken away again and again.
Everything was mesmerizing, from the stingrays swimming by in luscious blue waters to the postcard perfect overwater bungalows. I was shocked at the size and enthralled with the unique features of the bungalows – from coffee tables that opened up so you could feed the fish below (also known as “Tahitian Televisions”) to the ease of jumping off your private dock into the shallow lagoon.
I could’ve spent days cooped up in the bungalows, my own private paradise, but there is so much to see and do in French Polynesia that you have to get out of the room for a bit! Since you’re surrounded by water, many of the main attractions are water based – snorkeling, diving, the like. It’s a toss up between my personal favorite activities, though.
In Bora Bora, we rented jet skis and circumnavigated the entire island, which was not only gorgeous, but exhilarating. While in Moorea, I conquered my fear of sharks by swimming with reef sharks and stingrays. We ended the day by learning to make one of the best dishes of French Polynesia, poisson cru, the Tahitian’s version of ceviche. Of course, during both of these activities, we witness coconut presentations – be prepared to see a few of those when you travel to Tahiti! I now know 200 ways to crack open a coconut…
If I began talking in depth about each of the properties, I might not be able to stop myself from jumping on a plane and going back to French Polynesia. The resorts on each of the islands redefine luxury with their spacious accommodations and amazing sense of place. Each island and resort had its own personality, which is exactly why I like to get to know the personalities of my clients, so I can plan the most amazing French Polynesia trip you’ve ever imagined. For more insight on the properties, check out my Southern Views article, Under the Polynesian Sun.
Or, maybe you want to cruise around the islands of Tahiti. There are many great options, Paul Gauguin cruises being the finest – plus, like many of the hotels in French Polynesia, it’s a partner of ours, so we can get you special perks!
Everything from hereon out is custom-tailored to suit your needs. So, feel free to fill out our request a quote or email me at email@example.com to begin planning your trip to French Polynesia!
