What better way to celebrate Independence Day than tour New England? The Arndts and Smiths spent time in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine and loved every minute of it! We are so thankful that we were able to be a part of their experience!
“First, thank you for helping arrange an outstanding trip. We had a fabulous time. The accommodations were really great. The concierge assistance was spot on, they all did a super job (I almost thought they worked with Epperly Travel.”
What a kind compliment to have our customer service compared to the same level of service that each of these resorts provides.
“So, a toast to our Epperly Travel team. This was our last night in Ogunquit, Me. The restaurant is in the heart of the small “touristy” area as evidenced outside our window. But the service and food were awesome – highly recommended by the Cliff House team.”
The Arndt and Smiths started their journey at the Woodstock Inn where they got to experience the quaint town of Woodstock, Vermont.
“These are two photos of me and my bride with the falcon while at the Woodstock Inn. This is such an incredible small town in Vermont, and the staff and accommodations are really great. We would easily recommend this inn and the town. The restaurants, the inn, just no downside.”
Their next stop was the Omni Mt. Washington where they took the canopy tour and were able to experience the gorgeous mountains from the tops of the trees!
“Now on to the Omni and Mt. Washington. It was a grand hotel and operated by the Omni, and with our Omni perks it only got better. Great staff, beautiful hotel. We took the canopy tour, so here is the crew, including my brother who lives in CT and joined us for the tour. Also my girlfriend rappelling – highly recommend it. It was awesome, the ladies were skeptical, but totally glad they did it.”
Last, but not least, they concluded their stay at the Cliff House in Ogunquit, Maine. With events like the hot air balloon festival and sailing this was sure to be the perfect end to a wonderful trip!
“It was also the weekend for the Ogunquit hot air balloon festival and alumni weekend which included a really neat hometown parade with floats made in your garage, small bands, fire trucks, etc. just like where I grew up in rural PA.”
So here’s to the Arndt and Smiths! We are so glad that we could be a part of your summer vacation!
