Guilin
In great contrast to the huge city of Beijing, Guilin’s countryside offers a very different perspective to China. Rural life is the showcase here, set alongside the beautiful karst mountain landscape. Travelers who have a great interest in authentic culture will love a visit to Guilin, where interacting with the townspeople is a natural part of the itinerary.
Couples will enjoy Guilin for its relaxing environment, especially on a raft ride down a tributary of the Li River at sunset, one of the many wonderful experiences that Imperial Tours can arrange for my clients.
Guilin is also known for the solution caves, gorgeous caves well worth checking out while in the area. Instead of just enjoying a stroll through them, we can also set up a private dinner inside of one of the contemporary artist-designed caves – a truly once in a lifetime experience!
Sanya
Another unique town in China is Sanya, on Hainan Island, where you can find white sand beaches. Who would have thought, white sand beaches in China?! It’s the perfect way to kick back and relax after a cultural trip through the country. Travelers can enjoy golf, water sports, diving, the beach – basically anything one would expect from a tropical getaway in the Caribbean, including romantic candlelit dinners on the beach.
After attending Imperial Tour’s China Experts program last year, I’m able to plan vacations that extend well beyond couples travel: family getaways, foodie tours, history-centered itineraries, you name it.
