My affinity toward the St. Regis brand is hard to deny – it’s my go-to property for my own stays in Atlanta and I can’t thank them enough for the recent site inspection they put together for me at the St. Regis Bahia Beach in Puerto Rico. So, when clients come to me seeking a luxury resort in Miami that isn’t in the heart of the South Beach hype (sorry my dear SLS Hotel South Beach, I still love you for the right guests!), I always turn to the St. Regis Bal Harbour. The property manages to provide the best of both worlds: a pristine, exclusive environment with the prestige that comes with the Bal Harbour area just minutes away from the buzz of South Beach, Ocean Drive, and Miami Beach.
If you need any more testament to the hotel’s exclusive address, look no further than the location: the Bal Harbour Shops are a legendary destination that are equivalent to the combination of world-renowned designer boutiques, bistros, and outdoor cafes that one might find in Paris, New York, or Milan. If you’re into the fashion scene, I’ve got a room with your name on it at the St. Regis Bal Harbour. There’s a reason the St. Regis Bal Harbour states that it’s located “at the interesction of art, fashion, and design.”
If you’d rather not wait until you’re in Miami to do your shopping, let the St. Regis handle that for you with their innovative Neiman Marcus Closet at the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort. This new partnership with Neiman Marcus is the St. Regis’ spin on personal shopping: guests can choose their wardrobe ahead of time, selecting which items they’d like waiting in their suite’s closet upon their arrival to the St. Regis. Now that is a way to truly live up to the resort’s bespoke reputation.
Beyond the sophisticated shopping service, the resort prides itself in its famed Signature St. Regis Butler Service. With your butler on call 24/7, no request is too big or too small to fulfill. The St. Regis is dedicated to taking care of you and I’m confident that they’ll bend over backwards for clients that book through Vacations by Lindsey. Since the butler service is only offered in Jr. Suites or higher, I recommend at least booking the Jr. Suite category, but keep in mind that their Deluxe & Grande Luxe Oceanfront Suites will truly take your breath away. These rooms are complete with stunning ocean views and modern fixtures reflective of the natural hues of the surrounding beach, sea, and sky, like bleached Black Limba wood, combined with subtle Art Deco touches, characteristic of that famous Miami style.
In my opinion, any property that has a Jean-Georges Restaurant should be on your hot list, and this property happens to have the J&G Grill, which is definitely on my personal to-do list for whenever I visit Miami (and just take a wild guess where I’m going to stay when that day comes…). Among other amazing dining options, booking through me gets you complimentary daily breakfast for two in Atlantico, where you can dine inside or outside on the terrace – and be sure to try the Lindt Hot Chocolate. Along with that amenity, I’m also able to provide you with a $100 USD Spa Credit to use during your stay, plus I’ll make sure you’re on the upgrade list so, if any upgrades are available upon your arrival, you’ll be sure to get one!
