In a little over two weeks, I’ll be heading to Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas. This will be my third year attending, and each year I feel that I grow more and more as a luxury travel consultant. From the relationships I form to the product knowledge I gain, I couldn’t ask for a better week of immersion in the travel industry.
The event is truly unique. It’s like a fashion vendor going to market to buy clothes for clients, but instead, we’re going to find out about the latest products from all across the globe. For four days straight, we have 100 four-minute meetings with suppliers representing the finest cruises, hotels, and tour companies worldwide. It’s exhausting and invigorating and educational – I always return with a renewed love for the travel industry (then again, I never really find myself lacking in that love, it just gives me even more of a boost).
If there are any particular vacations that you’re interested in for the next year or so, please feel free to get in touch with me before I head to Travel Week. I would love to speak to suppliers on your behalf to find out more about a particular hotel, cruise, or destination!
To hear more about Travel Week, please feel free to watch this video provided by Virtuoso. Your very own Virtuoso agent makes a cameo appearance around :45 in the video – keep an eye out for me 🙂
During Travel Week, I will be staying at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Afterwards, I will be road tripping with my fellow agents to the Four Seasons Scotsdale to check out Arizona. If you have an interest in either of these properties or destinations, let me know!
