While in Cancun, I had the pleasure of touring one of the hotels I recommend the most. I usually have a hard time recommending a hotel that I haven’t seen (this is why I have to travel everywhere humanly possible so I can tour properties, right??), but I had heard so many rave reviews on this property that I’ve sent a few honeymooners in the past couple of months and EVERYONE has come back swooning over it.
After touring this little slice of heaven, I can see why. The moment one enters Zoetry’s gorgeous lobby – which has a zen flair thanks to two statues brought in from the owners’ world travels (throughout the property, you’ll see influences from Asia to Africa and everywhere in between) – you realize that you are far from the stereotypical Spring Breaker’s Cancun.
The owners’ personal touches make Zoetry feel homey and comfortable. One of my favorite unique touches: the bird garden. Zoetry has an area where little parrots and other colorful birds (obviously I’ve forgotten everything from my high school ornithology class) hop around freely in and out of their cages. One of the birds is so well known that she even has her own Facebook page. I just love a resort with a personality to it, and Zoetry has plenty of that.
On property, the incredibly friendly staff greets guests in Mayan, pampering them beyond belief with everything included in the Endless Privileges program. Zoetry is a true all inclusive – all of your food and drinks, alcoholic and non, transfers, plenty of on-property activities (like a Catamaran Cruise), and more. Beyond that, they provide guests complimentary wellness consultations and even offer to prepare meals based off of the results. The dining offered at Zoetry is designed to be a gourmet experience – so all of your meals are going to be out of this world.
The inclusions are only made better when you consider the size of the rooms – I toured one of the One Bedroom Oceanfront Suites with Private Plunge Pool and was blown away with the space. Zoetry’s one of the most affordable options if you’re looking for your own private plunge pool, so I always recommend it if that’s a must-have on your vacation.
Super spacious rooms, delicious food, and a laid back, romantic atmosphere make Zoetry one of the best luxury all inclusive resorts in the Riviera Maya area. I’d highly recommend it for honeymooners or a couples’ getaway. Even better: I’ve been finding some amazing specials for the resort lately, even better than what I’ve seen offered online, so it’s worth having me check into it for your next getaway.
